Hi! I’m Rodolfo. Welcome to my music studio.
I offer singing, guitar, piano, and songwriting lessons in Rotterdam, with a focus on developing musicality, creativity, and confidence.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or already have some experience, lessons are tailored to your goals—whether that’s improving your technique, learning songs you love, or writing your own music.
A bit about me: I’m a musician, composer, and teacher originally from Lima, Peru, now based in Rotterdam. I studied Jazz Composition at Codarts (Conservatorium Rotterdam), where I graduated cum laude in 2022.
Alongside teaching, I’m active as a composer and performer in several projects, including my band Actors Union, where I sing and play guitar. I’ve been teaching for five years and have worked with students across a wide range of styles and levels.
I’m deeply passionate about music across many genres, and I aim to help students not just learn an instrument, but become more complete musicians.
Lessons are available at my home studio in Oud Charlois or at your location.

How lessons work
Lessons take place at a fixed weekly time, either at my home studio in Oud Charlois (Rotterdam) or at your home.
At my studio, you can choose between 30, 45, or 60-minute lessons. Lessons at your home are always 60 minutes.
Each lesson is tailored to your interests, goals, and level.
My teaching is built around two main pillars:
Technique & Theory
We work on the fundamentals of your instrument, including technique, rhythm, pitch, tone, and dynamics, as well as essential music theory concepts that support your playing.
Repertoire & Application
We apply these skills directly to real music. This can include songs you want to learn, stylistically relevant repertoire, or material we develop together.
In the beginning, we may focus more on building a solid technical foundation. However, the goal is always to get you playing the music you want as quickly as possible.
Getting started
If you are interested in taking lessons but are not yet sure, you are very welcome to join me for a free trial lesson at my home studio in Oud Charlois.
After the trial lesson, if you would like to continue, we will find a weekly time slot that works for both of us and you can choose a lesson package of 12, 24, or 40 lessons.
